Antique Very Rare Fanny's Favorite Quilt: 1890-1910; Hand-quilted (63x70 inches)

This sweet old Fanny's Favorite Quilt is a very rare pattern with exquisite hand-quilting in triple diagonals and interlocking flower petals. There is a four-sided blue and white border that is also quilted in diagonals.

The back is white cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent antique condition with some overall age-related fading of the fabrics.

It has been soaked, hand-washed and line-dried and is clean and soft. It comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home and measures 63 inches by 70 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
