This charming Six-Pointed Star Doll Quilt dates to the 1930s–early 1940s and is entirely hand pieced and hand quilted. Constructed from classic Depression-era feed sack and cotton prints, it features twenty-three tiny (3-inch) stars, each with six points and mint green centers set against a soft yellow ground. Two of the edges are scalloped while the top and bottom have been evened-off with half-stars. It is hand-quilted in outlines of the patchwork.
The back is a yellow cotton as is the binding that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is very lightweight.
This tiny quilt is in excellent vintage condition.
