This striking hand-pieced Lone Star quilt top dates to approximately 1925–1935 and showcases a dramatic eight-point star in a rich array of Depression-era fabrics. The piece is a partial quilt top only and was never completed. It retains its irregular star-point edges and needs to be squared with borders or incorporated into a larger quilt.
The workmanship is entirely hand stitched with hand-cut diamonds throughout.
