This delightful vintage Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Top/Summer Coverlet dates to the 1930s and showcases a charming grid of hand-appliquéd figures made from authentic feedsack fabrics. Each Sunbonnet Sue is a unique assortment of Depression-Era fabrics.
The quilt top has finished outer edges but was never layered with batting or backing and was never quilted, making it ideal for finishing, preserving as-is, or using in a display or collection.
The quilt is in overall excellent condition with three small areas repaired from the back with stamped feedsack fabric. Note the embroidery on the top that was effected by these repairs was not replaced.
