Antique Redwork & LeMoyne Star Quilt Top - circa 1900–1915 - 60” x 84”

This is a wonderful and highly graphic antique Redwork quilt top dating to the early 1900s. The design alternates charming Redwork embroidered blocks with bold LeMoyne star blocks in vivid red and white, with deep blue sashing.

Each embroidered block features early Americana scenes — Pilgrims, frontier life, a Liberty-style flag and “One Penny” drum motif — all stitched in classic turkey red outline embroidery. The imagery is simple, folk-art in character, and unmistakably turn-of-the-century.

This is a quilt top only — it has never been quilted or backed and has no batting. The quilt top is in excellent antique condition with fading of the blue fabric as shown in the photos.
