  • Details
This lovely Depression-era Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt top dates to approximately 1935–1945 and incorporates a wonderful assortment of classic American feed sack fabrics.

Each flower is hand pieced from small hexagons, forming cheerful blossoms with sunny yellow centers surrounded by soft pastel “petals.” The fabrics include beautiful 1930s and early 1940s feed sack prints—tiny florals, conversation prints, delicate geometrics, and charming small-scale designs in mint green, powder blue, butter yellow, pink, lavender, and aqua.

✨ Important: This is a quilt top only. It is NOT quilted, and it has no batting or backing and it will require finishing.

The quilt is in very good vintage, unfinished condition. There are visible age spots and scattered toning consistent with storage and age (as shown in photos).
