This beautiful antique Jacob’s Ladder quilt top was hand pieced from a wonderful assortment of Depression-era cotton fabrics and finished with cheerful green sashing. Each block features a different combination of fabrics, making this a delightful scrappy quilt top.
The fabrics are especially appealing and include: • 1930s feedsack prints • Tiny geometric and calico prints • Soft pinks and cherry reds typical of Depression quilts • Light blues and shirting stripes • Small novelty and floral prints • Polka dots and delicate micro-prints
This quilt top is in very good vintage condition with some tearing along one edge of the green border. This is a quilt top only. It has not been layered, quilted, or bound.
