Vintage 1940s Garden Quilt with Pink Picket Fence Border – 68” x 86”

This charming 1940s Garden Quilt features dozens of hand-embroidered floral bouquets, each one different, scattered across a soft white background like flowers blooming across a garden lawn. A pink picket fence border surrounds them all. The hand-quilting in the white spaces between the flowers is precise, consistent and tiny and in unique geometric patterns.

The back is white cotton while the binding is pink cotton that has been machine-stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
