Vintage 1970s Star Garden Quilt – Hand Pieced & Hand-Quilted – 78” x 84”

This vibrant and beautifully hand-crafted Star Garden Quilt dates to the late 1960s–1970s, a period when traditional quilt patterns were revived using bold, cheerful mid-century fabrics, including - in this case - 1960s florals, geometrics, and bright solids to create bold interlocking stars.

The hand-quilting is precise and in outlines of the patchwork and, along the four-sided border, in an interlocking diamond pattern. The back is white cotton while the red cotton border has been turned to the back and hand-stitched to form the binding. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
