This authentic Depression-era basket quilt top is a wonderful example of resourceful 1930s quiltmaking, created from a lively mix of feedsack prints, shirtings, and repurposed household fabrics.
Set in a classic alternating block layout, each basket is formed from hand-pieced triangles of vivid feedsack pinks and blues along with indigo shirtings and plaid suiting scraps.
CONDITION: This is a quilt top only, never finished, no batting and no back. It is in excellent vintage condition.
