This charming and wonderfully cheerful vintage 1940-1950s patchwork quilt is composed of hundreds of 1.5 inch squares in a lively and joyful arrangement. The quilt features a wide variety of fabrics, including classic 1930s–1940s feedsack prints, soft pastels, florals, geometrics, stripes, and novelty prints, all thoughtfully combined into a traditional squares layout.
The quilt has been hand pieced and finished with machine zigzag quilting, a technique that was commonly used in the 1940s-1950s. The back is a soft pink as is the binding that has been machine-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
