Bright, graphic, and charming charm, this antique Aster Quilt features bold orange floral bursts with star accents scattered across a soft cream ground—an eye-catching design that feels both fresh and distinctly early 20th century. This is a classic 1920s–1930s appliqué quilt, with stylized aster or daisy-like blooms arranged in a pleasing, balanced layout. The hand-quilting is dense and expertly done with tight, even stitches covering the entire surface with diagonal grids, as well as a repeating shell pattern along the four-sided border.
The back is ivory/cream that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.
CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent antique condition with age-related fading of the fabrics. See photos.
