This cheerful Eastern Star Quilt has a color palette of bold turquoise blocks and vivid orange sashing framing scrappy 8-pointed star blocks. The scrappy fabrics include: * Feedsack-era florals and small prints * Black-and-white checks and geometrics * Mid-century stripes and novelty prints
It has been hand-pieced and hand-quilted, with the quilting in cross hatches as well as rectangles and outlines of the diamonds that make up the stars. The back is off-white/ivory cotton while the binding is orange cotton that has been machine-stitched to the back and hand-stitched to the front. The cotton batting is lightweight.
CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
