This is a 1950s or early 1960s Boston Commons Quilt pieced in a variety of high-quality cottons. It has been quilted in diagonals throughout the quilt, including on the four-sided border.
The back is white cotton that has been turned to the front and machine stitched to form the binding. The batting is cotton and very lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.
It is clean, soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 73 inches by 78 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
