This is a scrappy Double Wedding Ring Quilt dating to the 1940s-1950s and filled with a range of fabrics, from feedsack-era florals in rich jewel tones to cheerful prints and soft vintage colors. The hand-quilting is finely done in outlines of the one-inch square patches that make up the rings and in rings of hearts in the open white spaces.
The back is white cotton while the binding is navy blue with white polka-dots that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with some light (pink) color transfer. See photos.
