This beautiful vintage 1930s Pinwheel quilt is made from a vibrant collection of authentic Depression-era feed sack fabrics, including pastels, novelty bubble-dot prints, florals, checks, and cheerful ginghams. The quilt features dozens of crisp, spinning pinwheel blocks arranged on point and it is hand-quilted in very tiny stitches in diagonals throughout the quilt.
The backing is a classic lightly aged off-white muslin while the red and blue geometric cotton binding has been machine-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with light fading to the fabrics.
