Vintage 1960s Hand Embroidered Crib Quilt – Children’s Nursery Decor – 46"x66"

This delightful 1960s crib quilt is a cheerful mid-century storybook quilt with hand embroidered children, animals, flowers, swings, jump ropes, roller skates, and playful nursery scenes stitched across a soft white cotton ground.

Every figure and motif has been hand-stitched with beautiful hand quilting throughout in floral motifs, hearts and scrolling vine patterns. The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt’s long crib or youth-bed size also makes it very versatile — it could be displayed over a crib, toddler bed, child’s rocker, porch swing, or used as cottage-style nursery décor.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition and has been freshly soaked, hand-laundered with fragrance-free soap and line-dried, giving a light natural sun-dried cotton scent (not artificially fragranced).
