Modern Cat and the Fiddle Quilt – Hand Embroidered Cross Stitch Nursery – 32” x 42”

This charming folk art nursery rhyme baby quilt is filled with dense hand embroidered - cross-stitched - characters including the famous cat with the fiddle, the cow jumping over the moon, dancing spoon and mirror figures, tiny mice, stars, and a bonneted goose. Every figure has been densely hand cross stitched and outlined in black embroidery. The quilt has been signed "AmMerica 2018".

The back is plaid flannel while the binding is orange cotton. The batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent condition and has been freshly hand-laundered and line-dried, giving a light natural sun-dried cotton scent (not artificially fragranced).
