Vintage 1940s–1950s Embroidered Animal Crib Quilt – Reversible Nursery Decor – 33” x 50”

This sweet mid-century crib quilt dates to the 1940s or 1950s and measures 33” x 50”. The front features embroidered animals - bears, ducks, bunnies - arranged in alternating pastel aqua and cream blocks with a light pink border. The embroidery includes teddy bears, a puppy in a nightcap, and a bunny with alphabet blocks, all stitched in colorful hand embroidery.

The pastel color palette and simple nursery imagery are characteristic of the postwar baby quilts produced during the 1940s and early 1950s.

The hand quilting is finely done throughout with an allover diamond pattern. The back is a cheerful pink, blue, and white patchwork cotton with printed teddy bears, making this a fully reversible quilt. The binding is
