Vintage Virginia Rose Quilt, Serpentine Floral Border, Hand-stitched, 78" x 94"

The applique work and quilting on this Virginia Rose Antique Quilt have been beautifully stitched. The quilt is circa 1930-1940s and has quilting in feather and partial wreath patterns as well as in diamonds and in outlines of the roses and the elaborate floral vine border.

The back is white cotton as is the narrow binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in very good condition with three spots, less than 1/8 inch in circumference, fabric loss on two of the pink "rose buds" and on one green leaf on the floral vine and some fraying of the binding. See photos.

It is approximately 78 inches by 94 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
