This Fleur-de-Lis Quilt, circa 1920-1940s has a four-sided triangle border and has been hand-quilted in tiny stitches in a repeating diagonal pattern. The fleur-de-lis have been hand-appliqued in very tiny stitches.
The back is a bright white cotton while the binding is red cotton that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent antique condition with fraying of the binding.
It has been soaked, hand-washed and line-dried and is clean and soft. The quilt is approximately 64 inches by 73 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
