Vintage Tumbling Blocks Quilt; 1950-1960s; hand-quilted; 56"x76"

Tumbling Blocks Quilt made from a combination of rich velvets and cotton blends. The quilt has been hand quilted in outlines of the patchwork and in outlines of the four-sided border.

The back is a dark tan cotton blend where the quilting (all in white thread) can best be seen, while the binding is a satin blend that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.

It measures 56 inches by 76 inches and is from a smoke-free and pet-free home and is shown on a queen-size bed.
