This stunning 1930s Depression-Era quilt features a Conventional Tulip motif in vibrant "Nile Green" and "Carnation Pink" appliqué. The hand-quilting is really exceptional and is in small, repeating feather wreaths, flowers, feathers and echo quilting all done in dense, fine, museum-quality stitching. There is also a four-sided green serpentine and pink flower border.

The back is white cotton while the binding is a stripe of pink and a stripe of green cotton that has been machine stitched to the back and hand-stitched to the front. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with an old repair/patch on the back and fraying of the green stripe of the binding.
