Rare Antique Sunbeam with Hourglass Quilt; 1880-1910; Hand-Quilted; (72x78")

This Rare Sunbeam with Hourglass Quilt has been hand-quilted in diamonds in outlines of hourglasses and in diamonds throughout the rest of the quilt, including along the four-sided border.

The back is cream-colored cotton that has been turned to the front and machine stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent antique condition with minor signs of fraying on the binding.

The quilt measures 72 inches by 78 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
