Vintage Sampler Quilt; 1970s; hand-quilted; 71"x87"

This bright and beautiful Vintage Sampler Quilt, 1970s is made of a variety of quilt block patterns in high-quality cottons, all hand-quilted. The hand-quilting is in outlines of the patchwork and - in the solid center areas - in elaborate flower/geometric patterns. The four-sided border has been quilted in a twisted rope variation.

The back is a cotton green, red and yellow geometric pattern bordered on either side by light tan cotton (see photos). The binding is a red and tan floral print that has been machine stitched to both sides . The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.

This lovely quilt is clean and soft and measures 71 inches by 87 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
