Rare Vintage Bows & Arrows Cutter Quilt; 1930s; Crafting Quilt; (72" x 78")

A beautiful and rare pattern, this Bows and Arrows Quilt (circa 1930s) is stitched from classic feedsack fabrics in pastel florals, geometrics and novelty prints. It is arranged in diagonals and machine-quilted in diamonds and diagonals. It has a four-sided patchwork border which is also quilted in diamonds and diagonals.

The back is white cotton while the binding is blue cotton that has been machine-stitched to both sides.. The cotton batting is unsized and lightweight.

Ninety-five percent of the quilt is in excellent condition, but unfortunately several blocks around the border have fairly extensive fabric deterioration (see photos) and the binding is badly frayed.

The quilt is clean and soft comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 72 inches by 78 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
