Vintage Wheel of Fortune Quilt, 1930-1940s, hand quilted; 67"x82"

This so lovely Depression-era Wheel of Fortune Quilt is constructed from vibrant feedsack fabrics in gingham, florals, dots, bubble prints and early calicos. The quilt features alternating wedge spinning wheel designs with sunny yellow centers. The hand-quilting is in outlines of the patchwork and in Baptist Fan arcs.

The back is pink cotton while the binding has been formed by turning the front borders to the back and hand-stitching. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with some fading of the pink fabric. See photos.

This wonderful quilt is clean, very soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures approximately 67 inches by 82 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
