This very impressive 1940s quilt in a classic Pinwheel pattern is bright and cheerful is in never used condition and is made from classic 1940s ginghams, plaids, striped, and feedsack-style fabrics. Alternating raspberry-pink floral squares create a beautiful checkerboard pattern. The hand-quilting is in circles and diamonds in the body of the quilt and in a shell pattern along the four-sided border.
The back is a sunny yellow floral cotton while the binding is coral pink that has been machine stitched to the back and hand-stitched to the front. The cotton batting is very lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent, never condition with no condition issues found.
The quilt measures 70 inches by 76 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
