This beautifully preserved Album Patch Quilt has been hand pieced and hand quilted in vibrant mid-century cottons. The design showcases large framed blocks accented with traditional nine-patch units, separated by wide white sashing that gives the quilt a clean, graphic look.
Made in the post-war era, circa the 1950s to early 1960s, this quilt reflects the colorful palette of the time — cheerful reds, greens, blues, yellows, and florals — all carefully balanced into a striking and timeless composition.
The quilt is hand quilted throughout and finished with a hand-applied binding. A charming personal touch is the maker’s embroidered signature, “Charlie,” stitched in red thread on the back corner, adding provenance and character.
The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
