Vintage Spinning Spools 1930s Quilt: Hand-Quilted; (65x68 inches)

This very lovely quilt in an unusual Spinning Spools pattern has been hand-pieced from 1930s feedsack fabrics in soft powder blue calico and a charming floral berry print. Hand-quilted in diamonds as well as in a twisted rope pattern along the two-sided border.

The back is a crisp white cotton while the binding is a turkey red that has been machine stitched to the back and hand-stitched to the front. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with some age-related fading of the blue calico.

This lovely quilt is clean and soft and measures 65 inches by 68 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
