This charming Scrappy Triple Irish Chain Quilt, circa 1940-1950s, has been hand-and-machine quilted in straight-line grids and made of more than 2,000 tiny, 1-inch squares, many of which have been hand-stitched together. The tiny squares are a combination of calicos, florals, ginghams, stripes, plaids, novelty prints and solids.
The back is white muslin while the binding is a dark tan floral that has been machine stitched to both sides. The batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.
The quilt measures 64 inches by 76 inches and is clean and from a smoke-free, pet free home. It is shown on a queen size bed.
