Vintage 1940s Floral Quilt with Fence Border | Yellow & White Patchwork | 74"x84"

This is a beautiful hand-embroidered floral quilt, dating to the 1940s–early 1950s, featuring a classic alternating white and soft yellow checkerboard layout. Each yellow square is individually embroidered with floral motifs, including tulips, carnations, poppies, bluebells, and other garden flowers—then bordered by a white picket fence and green grass. It is hand quilted throughout in flowing curved lines with quilted flowers at the border.

The back is white cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched in very tiny stitches to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no condition issues noted.
