1940s Feedsack Quilt – Hand-Quilted Amethyst Star - 64"x79"

This is a vibrant and beautifully preserved 1940s Amethyst quilt, hand pieced and hand quilted during the Great Depression era. This striking quilt features glowing cheddar-yellow octagons with a lively mosaic of pastel feedsack stars in soft blues, pinks, greens, and florals. The hand-quilting is in outlines of the tiny stars and in swirling stars within the cheddar octagons.

The back is white cotton while the the binding is cheddar cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no condition issues noted.
