  • Details
A cheerful and beautifully preserved vintage Dutch Tulip appliqué quilt, made from a quilt kit, most likely a Paragon or Needlecraft kit, during the 1940s or 1950s. The quilt features bold pink blossoms, vibrant red and yellow layered petals, and rich green leaves set against a crisp white quilted ground.

The tulip blocks are evenly spaced in a classic grid layout, each flower composed of layered petals stitched with a neat machine blanket stitch. The hand quilting is in an all-over diagonal crosshatch pattern, with feather quilting and double diagonals along the border.

The back is white cotton while the binding is green cotton that has been machine stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
