Vintage 1940s Embroidered Flower Basket Quilt – Pink & Blue Album Quilt with Feather Quilting– 64 x 78

This charming vintage quilt dates to the 1940s–early 1950s and features beautifully hand-embroidered flower basket and floral motifs, each framed within a soft pink sashed grid with blue cornerstones. Hand quilted throughout in double diagonals, feathers and feather wreaths, the quilting is expertly done in precise, tiny stitches.

The back is pink cotton while the binding is blue cotton that has been machine stitched to the back and hand-stitched to the front. The cotton batting is lightweight.

Measuring 64 x 78 inches, this quilt works beautifully as a large crib quilt, lap quilt, or decorative throw, and is especially well suited for nursery, cottage, farmhouse, or vintage-inspired interiors.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with beginning fraying to the binding.
