Vintage 1930s Dresden Plate Quilt – Lavender Ground & Scalloped Edge – 74” x 106”

This is a really lovely hand-pieced and hand-quilted Vintage Dresden Plate Quilt with the scrappy feedsack plates set against a vibrant, lavender field and with lavender centers, one of the favorite colors of the Depression era. The quilt also has a wonderful four-sided hand-pieced and hand-quilted ice-cream-cone scalloped border. The hand quilting is in careful outlines of the patchwork and in double outlines of each plate and each circular center along with stylized petals quilted into each corner of the Dresden plate blocks.

The back is pink cotton, as is the binding that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no issues noted.
