This is a beautiful, hand-pieced "Dove at the Window" quilt top. Dating to the late 1800s, this piece features a sophisticated "on-point" setting and a beautiful array of period-calicos, including madders, chocolates, and indigos. Specifically, it includes:
• Madder Reds & Browns: Rich, earthy tones typical of the era.
• Indigo & Shirting Prints: Classic navy and white "low volume" backgrounds.
