This is a wonderful Triple Irish Chain Quilt, circa 1930s, made from dozens of cheerful 2-inch patchwork squares and bordered on all four sides by a patchwork border. The fabrics are tiny florals, feedsack prints, ginghams, stripes, and geometric patterns. The quilt is entirely hand pieced and hand quilted, with the quilting in diagonals throughout the body of the quilt and in diamonds along the border.
The back is white cotton while the binding is a dusty rose cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.
