This is a lovely 1930s Hexagon Garden/Grandmother’s Flower Garden Variation Quilt that features hundreds of hand-pieced 2-inch hexagons arranged into soft, blooming “flowers” set against a striking Nile or mint green pathway. The quilt is composed of a wonderful variety of vintage cotton prints, including a mix of small-scale florals, feedsack prints, novelty motifs, and geometric patterns—all carefully arranged into individual rosettes.
The hand-quilting is in a tiny diamond grid throughout the quilt. The back is Nile/mint green as is the very narrow binding that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is very lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
