This is a vibrant vintage Nine Patch Quilt showcasing a wonderful mix of Depression-era feedsack fabrics and mid-century cottons, including: • Charming 1930s-style feedsack florals and prints • Mixed with plaid and striped shirting fabrics • Rich indigo-style blue calico sashing • Cheerful mid-century red prints used as accents
The hand-quilting is in an all-over diagonal grid pattern, including along the four-sided red cotton border. The back is an off-white/cream cotton while the binding is bright red cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent, never-used vintage condition with no issues noted.
