Vintage 1940s Hand Embroidered Baby Quilt – Sweet Nursery Animals – 35 1/2” x 44”

This is an absolutely charming vintage crib quilt dating to the early 1940s and featuring nine hand-embroidered nursery animal blocks, each framed by pink sashing. Each block showcases a different animal—bunny, lamb, kitten, elephant, duck, and more—stitched by hand in classic outline embroidery with cheerful pastel accents. The hand quilting is expertly done in diagonal grids.

The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

This little quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
