This is a beautifully soft 1930s Four Patch quilt, created from a mix of pastel scrap fabrics and a warm white ground. The fabrics are in buttery yellows, soft pinks, mint greens, powder blues, and lavender tones in small-scale floral prints found in 1930s dress and feedsack cottons. The quilting is in an allover 3/4 inch cross-hatch grid.
The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been machine-stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.
CONDITION: The quilt has been soaked and hand-washed and is in excellent vintage condition with no issues found.
