$199.00

  • Details
This timeworn and beautiful Triple Irish Chain quilt is from the 1940s and is made of 1.5-inch squares in a palette of pastel feedsack prints and creamy yellow chains, creating a light, airy feel. The hand-quilting is in diagonal and cross-hatch grids

The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been machine-stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is unsized and lightweight.

CONDITION: This quilt has been well loved over the years and is being offered as a cutter quilt due to fabric loss in a number of the small squares, along with general wear, including some fabric loss at the borders, fraying of the binding and some light toning marks. That said, it is about 90% intact, it's sturdy and still displays beautifully and retains strong decorative appeal.
