This quilt is a wonderful example of mid-century Double Wedding Ring Quilts with its carefully pieced rings composed of dozens of small, 1 inch by 1.5 inch patchwork. The hand quilting is in outlines of the patchwork and in unique circles-spider-web-geometric designs in the open white blocks.
The back is white cotton while the binding is navy blue cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with some fabric thinning in several of the feedsack prints. See photos.
