This is a beautifully time-softened Pond Lily Quilt that has a cheerful late 19th-century palette showcasing a grid of finely-pieced blocks in a classic pattern with hand-quilting in graceful and precise shell grids. The fabrics are a lovely mix of:
* Turkey red prints with small-scale florals and geometrics
* Soft pinks and double-pink prints
* Indigo and black-and-white shirting stripes
* Muted blues and deeper raspberry tones
* A warm, creamy background that has aged beautifully over time

The back is a simple tan and cream check that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: This is a well-loved antique quilt that remains sturdy and is in very good condition but has several issues, including:
