This charming 1950s Criss Cross quilt is a joyful patchwork of soft pinks, florals, and feedsack-era prints in a pattern that has been beautifully executed with small-scale, 1.5-inch squares. Among the feedsack fabrics, the cotton prints include delicate florals, geometrics, and sweet novelty prints. There is a four-sided border of a blue, red and yellow floral print. The hand-quilting is in diagonal grids.
The back is the same blue, red and yellow floral print used on the border while the binding is a newer addition white cotton that has been machine-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is very lightweight.
CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no issues noted.
