Vintage Anemone Flower Quilt - 1960s Mountain Mist Kit Quilt - 75" x 89"

This is a beautifully soft and cheerful vintage quilt made from a 1960s Mountain Mist Anemone quilt kit, with hand-appliquéd Anemone flowers in pink, blue, purple, and yellow and hand quilting in feathers, cross-hatch grids and waves. The hand-quilting is tiny, dense and expertly done.

The solid fabrics used in the appliqué—minty greens, butter yellow, clear pink, and rich blue—remain vibrant and beautiful. The back is white cotton while the binding is yellow cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with some very light yellow color transfer in spots. See photos.
