$179.00

  • Details
This beautiful antique Seven Sisters Quilt dates to the late 19th century and has been hand-pieced from a lovely collection of indigo blues, cadet blues, soft double pinks, and pale shirting fabrics. The hand-quilting is in an all-over diagonal grid.

The back is white cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is unsized and lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is being sold as a cutter due to scattered fabric loss and wear, particularly in some of the lighter fabrics. See photos. Some of the fabrics also have age-related fading (see photos). Despite the wear, the quilt remains sturdy and beautiful.
