Antique Hearts & Gizzards 1920s Hand-Tied Quilt - Blue and Cream Cottage Bedding - 66"x79"

This beautiful hand pieced and hand tied quilt, circa 1920s, is in the classic Hearts & Gizzards pattern executed in soft blue and cream cottons in pinwheel and curved forms across the surface. The cadet blue and white two-color palette gives the quilt a clean and timeless farmhouse, cottage or Scandinavian appearance. It has a two-sided light blue and white border that has also been hand pieced and hand stitched.

The back is white cotton while the quilt has been knife edge finished with hand-stitching around the perimeter. The cotton batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in very good condition with some minor, light age-related toning.
