Antique Old Maid's Puzzle Quilt; 1915; farm decor; hand-quilted 72 by 75 inches

This lovely Old Maid's Puzzle Quilt, circa 1915-1930s, has been hand-quilted with precise rosettes in the white patches and in diagonals through the rest of the quilt.

The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been machine stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

Unfortunately this quilt is in poor or cutter condition due to extensive fabric loss on many of the tan print blocks and a very frayed binding.

The quilt has been soaked, hand-washed and line-dried. It is clean and soft and measures 72 inches by 75 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
